Is CBD legal?

The production, possession, and sale of Hemp-derived CBD products with less than 0.3% THC are legal federally thanks to a 2018 hemp farming act passed by the US senate. It is however illegal when infused into food or labelled as a dietary supplement under regulations by some federate states.

What is CBD vape oil?

Extracted from the flowers and buds of marijuana or hemp plants, CBD vape oil (more accurately “CBD vape liquid, CBD vape juice or CBD e-liquid”) refers to any vape juice that contains CBD, as opposed to nicotine. By “vape,” we mean a device that heats liquid to create vapor to be inhaled.

CBD vape liquid is not oil (though “CBD vape oil” is what people advertise) since it doesn’t contain any oil. Designed purposely for vaping, it isn’t oil-based and should not be mistaken for CBD oils (more formally CBD oil tinctures and hemp seed oil.)

CBD vape liquid (usually from VG, PG, CBD, and flavourings) consists predominantly of healthy additives. Since these ingredients are miscible in water and consist of edibles, they can be vaped. Contrarywise this, CBD oil tinctures are for oral use only and not suitable for inhalation.
